The series is based on the various strategies of human seeing. Digital picture making is one of the most pronounced branch in our visual culture. The digital and mobile photography have a special kind of aesthetics and also special kind of anomalies, which are embedded in our collective ways of seeing. A good example for this is the repetitive pattern caused by certain retouching methods or the similar effect that can be found on panorama pictures. The perception of these digital anomalies are the core experience of his diploma work. This concept goes hand in hand with the artificial life spaces of the zoo. So I manipulated the pictures in a way that is not too obtrusive but raises some awareness
